Instructions:
1. Remove
cores from peeled apples and slice them using the grater.
2. Roll out the
Phyllo pastry into an approx. 0.3 mm thick square, pierce with a blunt spiked
rolling pin and place apple slices onto the dough so that the slices overlap.
3. Coat with melted butter, sprinkle with granulated sugar and bake in an oven
pre-heated to 190 °C until golden brown.
Caramel
sauce:
4. Blend
sugar with water, boil and leave to caramelise. Mix in cream, remove from heat
and lighten with butter.
5. Serve the apple tart with a scoop of vanilla ice
cream and caramel sauce.
